Job summary

Ayers Rock Resort is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to lead and deliver the resort-wide training and new employee orientation, onsite at Yulara, NT. You will partner with departments to manage the training calendar and liaise with external providers.

Ideal candidates have hospitality management experience, strong administration, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A focus on staff development and a pathway for growth within the resort is offered, with relocation assistance and staff

• Experience in managing training programs within hospitality or hotel operations.
• Ability to plan and coordinate training calendars and rooms.
• Experience delivering on-the-job training to diverse teams.
• Strong administrative and coordination skills.

Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Learning & Development Manager to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent attention to detail and strong relationship building skills to fill a critical position within our team to assist in the effective management, organisation, and delivery of Resort wide training, learning and development, and new employee Orientation program.

The ideal candidate would have strong departmental management experience within an hospitality and hotel operations who has carried regular on-the-job training for their team. You will have excellent administration skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Your key duties will include:

• Assist in day-to-day operational management of ARR training delivery provided both internally and by external providers. Liaise with external training providers to deliver training at ARR as required.
• Assist in the planning and maintenance of the monthly training calendar and room bookings and catering requests
• Working closely with the Group L&D Manager to refine and implement a Learning and Development Strategy at Ayers Rock Resort
• Preparation and delivery of various programs across the resort in Hospitality, Work Health & Safety compliance, and Hotel operations
