HOBAN Recruitment is partnering with a Federal Government agency to source an APS6 Learning Design & Delivery Coordinator focused on Cultural Safety. You will design, develop, deliver and evaluate learning programs with First Nations stakeholders, delivering face-to-face, virtual and blended formats.

You will apply instructional design methods, support capability initiatives and work across a nationally focused team to ensure culturally safe training outcomes.

Learning Design & Delivery Coordinator (Cultural Safety)

HOBAN Recruitment is partnering with a leading Federal Government agency to recruit an experienced APS6 Learning Design & Delivery Coordinator (Cultural Safety). This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to workforce capability initiatives that support culturally safe practices and improve outcomes for First Nations peoples. Applications from First Nations peoples are strongly encouraged.

Working within a nationally focused team, you will design, develop, facilitate and evaluate engaging learning programs that build organisational capability. Collaborating with First Nations stakeholders, subject matter experts and business areas, you will create innovative learning experiences delivered through face-to-face, virtual and blended learning environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver learning solutions, workshops, virtual programs and capability development initiatives.
• Facilitate engaging learning experiences using contemporary adult learning and group facilitation techniques.
• Apply instructional design methodologies and learning technologies to create accessible and evidence-based learning products.
• Coordinate learning schedules, program administration and delivery activities.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness through feedback, data analysis and stakeholder consultation.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to gather learning requirements and ensure culturally safe training outcomes.
• Monitor project milestones, risks and reporting requirements while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

About You To be successful, you will demonstrate:

• Experience designing, developing and facilitating learning and capability programs.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and coordinating projects in complex environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including reporting and briefing experience.
• Analytical problem-solving capability and the ability to make evidence-based recommendations.
• Understanding of cultural safety principles and a commitment to working collaboratively with First Nations peoples, communities and organisations.

Highly Regarded

• Experience working with First Nations communities, organisations or culturally safe learning programs.
• Experience using learning management systems and learning development tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Qualifications in education, training, human resources or a related discipline.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or similar qualifications.
