Job summary

AbbVie in Sydney seeks a Learning and Capability Partner to connect business strategy with the capabilities our people need to deliver it, translating priorities into practical solutions that strengthen leadership, customer engagement and execution.

You'll partner with National Sales Managers and In-Field Teams to diagnose performance gaps, design high-impact learning experiences and embed capability into everyday work, with clear measures of impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, life sciences or related field.
• Experience in pharma sales, learning and development, or commercial operations.
• Ability to translate strategy into capability priorities and influence at all levels.
• Proven track record designing and embedding learning programs that drive change.
• Strong coaching and leadership development capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Experience measuring impact of capability initiatives with CRM and reports.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to translate priorities into capability plans and solutions.
• Embed capability frameworks and ensure execution excellence across functions.
• Own and manage capability plans with visibility of progress and impact.
• Strengthen NSMs’ ability to lead, coach and develop their teams.
• Identify root capability needs using insights and design practical learning interventions.
• Design and deliver high-impact learning experiences that translate into in-role skills.
• Coach leaders to embed learning in daily performance and post-learning practice.
• Define metrics for capability initiatives and report on adoption and business impact.
