Job summary

SGCH is hiring an L&D Coordinator based in Liverpool, NSW. The role supports planning, coordination and administration of learning initiatives, working with the Learning team and People & Culture to run programs smoothly.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in administration or customer service with coordination of training, events and records.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with diverse communities and teams.
  • High level of accuracy, organisation and time management; proficiency with common digital tools and LMS.

Responsibilities

  • Organise and support delivery of training sessions, including scheduling and room setup.
  • Maintain the organisation-wide learning calendar and LMS records (enrolments, completions).
  • Prepare learning reports and updates for stakeholders.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support for L&D activities.
  • Coordinate study assistance and respond to learner queries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to improve processes.

Job Description
About the role and about you

The L&D Coordinator plays a central role in supporting the planning, coordination and administration of learning and organisational development initiatives. Working closely with the Learning team, People & Culture colleagues, leaders and external providers, you’ll ensure learning programs run smoothly from start to finish. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys coordination, systems, and stakeholder engagement - and wants to grow their career in learning and development within a purpose‑driven organisation.

To succeed in this role, you will be highly organised, a great administrator, people-focused, and have a learning mindset.

This is a permanent role, based at our Liverpool office and requires travel to other SGCH office locations as required.

Duties
  • Organise and support the delivery of training sessions, including scheduling, setup rooms and communication with team members
  • Manage the organisation‑wide learning calendar
  • Maintain learning records in the LMS, including enrolments and completions
  • Prepare various learning reports and updates
  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative support for L&D activities and requests
  • Coordinate study assistance and respond to learner queries
  • Look for ways to improve processes and the learning experience
  • Work with internal teams and external training providers
  • Actively role‑model SGCH’s values and support a safe, inclusive workplace
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in administration or customer service, with a strong emphasis on coordination of training, events and record-keeping, as well as providing general support to enable effective coordination within the team. Desirable knowledge in contemporary learning and development practices.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain concepts simply and clearly, with diverse communities and teams.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, strong organisational and time‑management skills, and a high level of accuracy.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and other common digital tools, with a strong willingness to learn new and emerging technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS).
