Job summary

City of Geelong is seeking a Casual Learn to Swim Coordinator to support day-to-day coordination of the Learn to Swim program, assist teachers, organise class allocations and ensure a safe, positive experience for children and families participating in aquatic education.

The role includes rostering staff, monitoring teacher performance and handling administrative tasks such as pool bookings and squad groups.

Qualifications

• Provide First Aid including CPR.
• Working with Children Check.
• National Police Check and pre-employment medical assessment may be required (funded by the City).

About the role

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of Learn to Swim programs and a passion for delivering safe, engaging aquatic education. You will bring excellent communication and customer service skills, the ability to support and guide teaching staff, and the flexibility to work across a range of shifts.

• Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check and a pre-employment medical assessment as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
