Job summary

Orange City Council's Orange Aquatic Centre is seeking an Aquatic Programs Instructor to plan and deliver high-quality Learn to Swim lessons in a safe, engaging environment.

You will coordinate lesson plans, manage equipment and supervise student behaviour while ensuring safety and enjoyment for all participants. Applicants should hold a current Teacher of Water Safety accreditation (Royal Lifesaving NSW or AUSTSWIM) and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current Teacher of Water Safety accreditation (Royal Lifesaving NSW or AUSTSWIM).
• Experience planning and delivering Learn to Swim programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with the public and students.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Learn to Swim lessons within timetable.
• Organise, set up and pack away equipment.
• Manage student behaviour and ensure safety and enjoyment.
