Job summary

Swimtastic Swim School in Loganholme, QLD is hiring Casual Swimming Instructors to support our busy summer programs. Experienced teachers or beginners with the right attitude are welcome; training and mentoring help you become confident teaching Learn to Swim.

We value enthusiastic, reliable people who enjoy working with children, are happy in the water and can commit to regular weekly shifts. CPR and Blue Card are preferred or obtainable; Teacher of Swimming qualification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised Teacher of Swimming qualification or be willing to obtain.
• Current CPR and Blue Card or willing to obtain.
• Ability to deliver quality Learn to Swim lessons within structured framework.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Learn to Swim lessons within Swimtastic framework.
• Provide friendly, safe supervision in the water.
• Attend training and mentoring sessions to develop teaching skills.
• Engage with families and support program growth.

Join our growing team for Summer!

Swimtastic Swim School is a family-owned and operated swim school in Loganholme, and we're growing!

With our summer programs getting busier, we are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly people to join our team as Swimming Instructors.

We'd love to hear from experienced and qualified swimming teachers, as well as enthusiastic people looking to start a career in swim teaching. No previous teaching experience is necessary for the right person - if you're great with children, comfortable in the water and eager to learn, we can provide the training and support you need to become a confident swimming instructor

What's required

• Available for regular weekly shifts
• Hold a recognised Teacher of Swimming qualification or willing to obtain
• Have current CPR and Blue Card or willing to obtain
• Delivering quality learn to swim lesson within the Swimtastic framework.
• A love or working with Children

We are happy to consider people with no previous swimming instructor experience who have the right attitude and are interested in completing the required training.
