Job summary

CSL Seqirus is seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to drive performance improvement at the Tullamarine manufacturing site, with targeted support to Woodend. In this site-based role, you will partner with leaders across Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Engineering to embed continuous improvement into daily operations.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Data Science, Business or a related field.
• Minimum five years' experience in Operational Excellence or continuous improvement.
• Proven track record leading transformational change programmes.
• Strong Lean shop-floor management experience and practical Lean Six Sigma.
• Hands-on experience with structured problem solving and data-driven decision making.
• Experience reporting outcomes in a matrixed, highly regulated environment.
• Occasional travel to Woodend is required.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, GxP, and digital transformation is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Leading and coaching deployment of the CSL Operating System across operations and support functions.
• Developing and progressing Operational Excellence roadmaps aligned with site priorities.
• Facilitating transformation workshops and embedding visual management and standard work.
• Strengthening Leader Standard Work through Gemba walks and coaching.
• Conducting maturity assessments and translating findings into improvement plans.
• Leading or coaching complex continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Identifying process variation, waste and simplification opportunities across value streams.
• Applying change-management approaches to strengthen engagement and adoption.
• Establishing governance and tracking progress, risks and realised benefits.
