South Staffordshire Water in Cambridge seeks a Leakage Technician to detect and localise leaks across DMAs, carrying out field-based surveys at night and contributing to network efficiency.

You will operate leakage-detection equipment, perform valve operations, logging, and data capture, while delivering excellent customer service and adapting to new technologies within a dedicated team.

Formación

• Understand leakage detection processes and water networks.
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent required.
• Good PC skills and ability to document data clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out field leakage detection across DMAs.
• Detect and localise leaks using specialised equipment.
• Operate valves, perform tests, logging to support network optimisation.
• Complete paperwork and capture operational data for planning.
• Interact with customers professionally and manage expectations.
• Adapt to new tech and contribute ideas to improve team performance.
