Job summary

Hydrosave UK Limited is seeking a Smart Water Services Field Technician (FTC) to support installation of network sensors and data logging devices across water networks. You will work in a field-based role, often outdoors, recording acoustic, pressure and flow data to aid leakage detection and network modelling.

The role requires independence, effective time management and a commitment to high standards of safety.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Consent to and pass a CRB check.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good planning and organisational ability.
• Decisive and confident decision-making skills.
• Strong awareness of Health, Safety & Wellbeing.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Strong work ethic and teamwork orientation.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft package for data recording.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain water sensors used to record acoustics, pressure and flow.
• Use of specialist equipment.
• Accurately complete timesheets, survey forms, and leakage reports.
• Take full responsibility for Health & Safety compliance.
• Work closely with Team Leaders and fellow technicians.
• Report accidents, incidents, and near misses within required timeframes.
• Adhere to company vehicle safety processes and complete daily vehicle checks.
• Demonstrate company values and professional behaviours at all times.
