Linktal Recruitment is seeking an experienced Leading Hand for a prestigious $40M Class 2 mixed-use development in Rosebery, NSW. The role involves supporting the Site Manager, supervising trades, coordinating deliveries and maintaining quality across a high-end residential and commercial complex.

Your background in Australian construction, strong safety knowledge and ability to manage multiple trades will help drive on-time delivery and site discipline. White Card is required.

Qualificações

• Experience as Leading Hand/Foreman/Senior Leading Hand in Australian construction.
• Class 2 residential/mixed-use projects up to $30M+ experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of sequencing, site coordination and subcontractor management.
• Solid knowledge of site safety, quality control and construction practices.
• White Card holder with good communication and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Site Manager with day-to-day delivery and coordination.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades and site activities.
• Assist with planning, sequencing and programming.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries and site logistics.
• Monitor workmanship, quality and progress against drawings and specs.
• Ensure construction activities meet project requirements and drawings.

$40M Class 2 Mixed-Use Development (Apartments + Commercial + Basement)

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Leading Hand to join a multi-award-winning Tier 2 builder, working on a prestigious $40M Class 2 mixed-use development in Rosebery.

The project comprises high-quality luxury residential apartments, commercial spaces and basement construction, providing excellent exposure to a complex, large-scale development.

The Role

• Support the Site Manager in the day-to-day delivery and coordination of the project
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades and site activities
• Assist with construction planning, sequencing and programming
• Coordinate materials, deliveries and site logistics
• Monitor workmanship, quality and progress across the site
• Ensure construction activities are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Conduct regular site inspections and assist with quality control
• Assist with defect identification and rectification
• Help maintain a safe, organised and productive site environment

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Leading Hand, Foreman or Senior Leading Hand within the Australian construction industry
• Strong experience across Class 2 residential, apartment or mixed-use development projects value up to $30M and above only.
• Solid understanding of construction sequencing, site coordination and subcontractor management
• Strong knowledge of site safety, quality control and construction practices
• Confident communicator with the ability to coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work closely with the Site Manager
• Relevant construction qualifications and White Card
