Job summary

Bluestonerecruitment client is seeking a Leading Hand for a major Class 2 residential build in Inner West Sydney, with a project value upwards of $400M. You will directly coordinate trades, supervise site operations and support the Site Manager to maintain progress and quality on site.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong coordination skills and a focus on safety and workmanship across multiple subcontractors in a dynamic Sydney environment.

Qualifications

• Cert IV Carpentry or relevant building qualification.
• Strong organizational, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• Class 2 building experience on residential projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day site operations and help keep the project on track.
• Support an experienced Site Manager on site duties.
• Coordinate trades, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain workflow.
• Ensure all work is delivered safely, neatly and to a high standard.
• Carry out site inspections and report progress.
• Assist with safety installs when required.

They are currently seeking a Leading Hand to join the team on a major class two residential build in Inner West Sydney worth upwards of $400M

The Opportunity:

This is a great chance for a driven and capable Leading Hand to join a high-performing team and play a key role in the delivery of some of Sydney's most impressive apartment projects. You will be hands-on in coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, making sure every trade is working to the agreed scope, specifications, design and contract requirements.

As a Leading Hand, you will be responsible for:

• Leading day-to-day site operations and helping keep the project on track.
• Supporting an experienced Site Manager and carrying out the required duties on site.
• Coordinating trades, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain workflow.
• Making sure all work is delivered safely, neatly and to a high standard.
• Carrying out site inspections and reporting progress.
• Getting hands-on when needed, including with safety installs.
