Job summary

Linktal Recruitment represents an established iCIRT Gold Star-rated builder-developer recruiting an experienced Leading Hand for a large-scale Class 2 apartment project in Sydney's Northwest & Hills District.

The role involves coordinating day-to-day site activities, supervising subcontractors, monitoring progress, and ensuring safety and quality. A hands-on leader with 2–3+ years on similar projects is sought, with relevant construction licences highly regarded.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years’ experience as a Leading Hand/Foreman on large-scale Class 2 apartment projects.
• Strong understanding of apartment construction and site sequencing.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Hands-on approach with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Relevant construction qualifications/licences will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day site activities and assist with overall site operations.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades and labour on site.
• Monitor construction progress and assist with maintaining the programme.
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Assist the Site Manager with inspections, quality control and defect management.
