Job summary

Southside Landscape Construction Pty Ltd – Geelong VIC is seeking a full-time Qualified Leading Hand Landscaper to join our dynamic team. You will lead a crew, oversee on-site landscaping projects, read plans, and ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires formal qualification in landscaping or 4+ years industry experience, strong leadership and site organisation, and a valid driver’s licence. Immediate start with a 3-month trial.

• Ability to read plans and operate tools safely.

Southside Landscape Construction Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Qualified Leading Hand Landscaper to join our dynamic team in Geelong, VIC. As a Leading Hand, you will be responsible for constructing high-quality landscaping projects that enhance the natural beauty of the local area.

What you'll be doing

Working as a team leader to deliver high quality projects

Self managing time and communicating with clients

Placing orders and organisation of sites

Delivering high quality outcomes throughout projects

Problem solving to overcome obstacles

Using technical skills to construct both hard and soft landscapes

Delegating tasks and assuring construction processes run smoothly

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in Landscaping or relevant employment history in the industry for 4 year minimum

Team leading and organisational

Proven experience in landscape construction, including the installation of hardscaping and softscaping elements

Strong technical skills in areas such as reading plans, operating power tools and heavy machinery, and applying landscaping techniques

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to overcome challenges on-site

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and work effectively in a team

A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to job sites as required

Immediate start with an initial 3 month trial period
