Job summary

Victorian Hoarding Construction – Bayswater VIC is seeking a hands-on site lead to manage defit and strip-out projects across our Melbourne portfolio. You will work closely with the Director-Projects to meet tight completion timeframes and uphold our high professional standards.

The role requires a positive, can-do attitude, strong teamwork, and the ability to coordinate trades on site while adhering to site rules, SWMS, and safety practices to deliver quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Transporting equipment to site
• Understanding full scope of work for any defit project, working closely with Director- Projects to outline sequence of activities to be completed
• Lead team onsite providing direction and instruction where required and ensure high productivity of team members
• Lead daily kick off meetings, ensuring all team members are aware of SWMS and daily priorities
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment throughout the project
• Understand and adhere to site specific rules, including sign in processes, noise restriction timings and traffic management
• Complete all tasks to a high standard
• Liase closely with subcontracted trades (e.g. Electrician, Floor Grinder, Sprinkler Fitter, Tiler etc) whilst onsite

Victorian Hoarding & Construction (VHC) services hoarding installation, demolition, tenancy strip-outs, base build works for over 40 shopping centres across Melboucne

This position will primarily lead the onsite team for defit / strip out projects, working closely with our Director- Projects to deliver the project in the required completion time frame We rely on an extremely high professional standard, showing upmost respect to our clients and general public.
