Job summary

McCarroll's Automotive Group is seeking a Workshop Controller for Lexus of Newcastle and Volvo Newcastle to oversee the day-to-day running of the service workshop and ensure the highest quality workmanship. The role involves managing workflow, coordinating with service advisors, and guiding technicians through diagnostics.

Proven experience in a workshop controller role.
Manage day-to-day running of the service workshop.
Ensure warranty procedures have been adhered to.
Maintain WHS compliance.
Applicants must be located in Australia and be Australian or NZ citizens or hold a permanent residency visa.

Responsibilities

Manage workshop flow, whilst adhering to completion times
Liaising with service advisors
Supervising and assisting technicians with diagnosing problems
Arranging and planning jobs
Supervising and organising training
Ensuring all warranty procedures have been adhered to
Ensuring WHS Compliance
Assisting the service manager
Communication with the manufacturers
Road testing vehicles
