Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to provide architectural leadership for workplace technologies, devices, mobility and collaboration services across a large enterprise. The role involves defining standards, roadmaps, governance and oversight, and partnering with product owners, engineers and stakeholders to improve consistency and long-term outcomes.

You will influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional architecture discussions in a regulated, complex environment

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Solution Architect, Platform Architect, Principal Engineer or in a similar architecture leadership role.
• Strong experience developing architecture standards, technology roadmaps, governance frameworks and design review processes across multiple technology domains.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise workplace technologies, including Windows and macOS environments, device management platforms, collaboration tools and endpoint security.
• Experience influencing stakeholders, leading cross-functional architecture discussions and providing strategic technology direction within large and complex organisations.
• Experience working within large-scale enterprise or regulated environments, with the ability to balance innovation, risk, security and operational outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership across the TechX technology portfolio, shaping the future direction of workplace technology, devices, mobility and collaboration services.
• Define architecture standards, blueprints and roadmaps, provide design governance and oversight.
• Work with product owners, engineers and stakeholders to improve consistency, integration and long-term technology outcomes across a complex enterprise environment.
