Job summary

Raafa is seeking a Workplace Health Injury Prevention Physiotherapist to lead injury prevention, workforce conditioning and early clinical intervention. You will establish and manage risk-based pre-employment musculoskeletal assessments and review health screenings in collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and registration with AHPRA.
• Knowledge of WHS and injury management practices.
• Hands-on experience with musculoskeletal injuries and clinical management.
• Ability to develop injury management plans with stakeholders.
• Ability to deliver injury prevention initiatives to employees.
• Strong communication to influence outcomes with managers and staff.
• Experience with injury management software (e.g., Solv) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead injury prevention, workforce conditioning and early intervention functions.
• Establish and manage risk-based pre-employment musculoskeletal and functional assessments for identified high-risk roles.
• Review and strengthen pre-employment health screening in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish physical fitness-for-work pathways and functional assessment standards.
• Undertake job-task analyses, ergonomic assessments and risk assessments to reduce injury risk.
• Provide clinical management of Early Intervention cases, including assessment, treatment and monitoring.
• Develop and deliver a WorkerSupport/Workforce Conditioning Program focused on strength, mobility and fitness for work.
• Partner with onsite Allied Health teams to identify injury risks and implement prevention initiatives.
