Job summary

Byrnecut Australia Pty Ltd is seeking Experienced or Aspiring Leading Hands for our Western Australian operations. You will join a world-leading underground mining contractor, working on state-of-the-art fleet and contributing to an innovative team.

We offer full-time employment with flexible FIFO/DIDO rosters (2/2 or 8/6), interstate flight options, and opportunities for long-term career progression, training, and development.

Qualifications

• WA Electrical Workers Licence (or ability to obtain).
• S26 Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge of WHS Mines Regulations and AS-NZS 3000.
• Current Manual Driver's Licence.
• Senior First Aid, CPR & Low Voltage Rescue.
• High Voltage switching certification.
• Able to pass Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screening.
• Willing to obtain National Police Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical activities on underground mining fleet and infrastructure.
• Coordinate shift tasks and ensure safety compliance on site.
• Mentor and support team members to deliver reliable maintenance.
• Assist with pre-employment checks and site safety requirements.
