Job summary

Byrnecut Australia Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Underground Fitters to join our maintenance team. Work across our specialised fleet with opportunities in workshop and field service roles, handling planned servicing, diagnostics and repairs to ensure equipment remains safe and reliable for underground operations.

We offer long-term security as part of a global contractor, with days-only 8/6 rosters and FIFO/DIDO options from Western Australia.

Qualifications

• Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification (Australian recognised).
• Current Manual Driver's Licence.
• Mobile mining equipment experience (Underground highly regarded).
• Ability to successfully complete a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening.
• Willingness to obtain or provide a current National Police Clearance.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Safety-focused with a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Planned servicing and preventative maintenance of raise-bore and Rhino drilling equipment.
• Fault finding, diagnostics, repairs and breakdown response to ensure safe, reliable operations.
