Job summary

DDH1 Drilling Pty Ltd is seeking experienced personnel for a FIFO role on the East Coast of Australia. The successful candidate will operate mobile underground diamond rigs, maintain rig safety standards and mentor junior drillers.

You will work across multiple sites with a 2:1 or 2:2 roster, hold a relevant license, with First Aid and police clearance in place. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and teamwork on site, delivering accurate drilling programs while maintaining professional

Qualifications

• Experience operating mobile Underground Diamond rigs.
• Manual driver’s licence (HR preferred).
• Current First Aid Certificate HLTAID011.
• Willingness to work FIFO rosters 2:1 or 2:2.
• National Police Clearance required.
• Cert III in Drilling Operations completed or in progress (preferred).
• Demonstrated safety awareness and leadership on site.

Responsibilities

• Operate drill rig to OEM and DDH1 standards within safety systems.
• Ensure Duty of Care for yourself and crew.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and site rules.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on site equipment.
• Oversee sampling procedures and core marking to spec.
• Train and mentor offsiders and Trainee Drillers in safety and rig ops.
• Execute client drilling programs with accuracy and safety.
• Maintain professional conduct and teamwork on site.
