Job summary

Protec Mechanical Repairs in Taree, NSW, is seeking an experienced Lead Technician / Senior Motor Mechanic to join our family-owned workshop. This is a hands-on role offering greater responsibility and a path to become a key member of the team.

You will diagnose and repair a wide range of makes and models, work independently, and support junior technicians while taking on senior, hands-on duties within the workshop. A strong diagnostic skillset is essential.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Motor Mechanic
• Minimum 5 years experience
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Current driver's licence
• Pink Slip / AIS inspection ticket
• Experience across a wide range of makes and models
• Reliable with a great work ethic and can-do attitude
• Confident working independently and supporting other technicians
• A/C refrigerant handling licence preferred, but not essential
