Job summary

WNS in Australia seeks an experienced Senior Web Applications Developer to join its enterprise software team. You will lead design, development and integration efforts across platforms, ensuring robust, scalable solutions.

The role requires hands-on coding, leadership of developers, and collaboration with customers and offshore teams. You will define standards, run sprint ceremonies, and contribute to app deployments in a dynamic BPM environment.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in developing enterprise-level web applications using object-oriented tech stack.
• 1-2 years of experience in leading a team of developers.
• Experience in developing on J2EE platforms, .Net platforms, RDBMS platforms (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server)

Responsibilities

• Requirement gathering and analysis.
• Design integration requirements with third-party platforms.
• Designing data models.
• Defining architectural and development standards per Appian best practices.
• Preparing high-level technical specifications.
• Performing code reviews to ensure delivery quality.
• Interacting with customers daily as main point of contact.
• Presenting demos to customers.
• Running major sprint ceremonies and planning releases.
• Leading User Acceptance Testing with business users.
• Able to perform application deployments.
• Enabling the development team to advance.
• Oversee infrastructure setup for on-premise projects.
• Collaborating with off-shore development teams.
• Knowledge of networks and OS platforms (Windows, Linux).
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
