Job summary

Featherbrook P-9 College in Point Cook, Victoria, is seeking Range 2 classroom teachers to contribute to a progressive education for Prep–Year 9. You will deliver a personalised, evidence-based curriculum across STEM, arts, camps and sport, with a focus on inclusive practice and student wellbeing.

You will lead high-quality teaching, use data to inform instruction, mentor staff and collaborate with families to support student learning and attendance in a supportive, community-oriented

Qualifications

• Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• Evidence of postgraduate initial teacher education.
• Demonstrate literacy and numeracy standards (LANTITE) where required.
• Ability to use data to inform teaching and respond to student learning growth.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Supervise and train student teachers.
• Use student data to inform teaching approaches and targets.
