Job summary

Roxburgh College is seeking a Leading Teacher to drive school improvement, lead curriculum development and support teachers in delivering high-quality teaching and learning. You will coordinate staff, model best practice, and mentor others to achieve strong student outcomes.

The role focuses on implementing priority areas from the school’s strategic plan, developing assessment policies and supporting the growth of the teaching workforce through professional learning and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and manage whole-school improvement initiatives.
• Ability to plan and implement high impact teaching strategies.
• Ability to monitor, assess and use data to inform practice and share outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage school priorities within the strategic plan.
• Coordinate staff to implement curriculum improvements and professional learning.
• Support teachers with data-informed instruction and feedback to students and parents.
• Oversee staff performance and development, including appraisal and coaching.
• Contribute to policy development for teaching, learning and student welfare.
• Manage one or more priority areas within the school’s operations and policies.
