Job summary

The successful candidate will lead curriculum planning in multiple learning areas, support teachers with professional development, and contribute to policy development within the school’s strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• SC1 Demonstrated expert knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to lead school priorities.
• SC2 Ability to plan and implement high-impact teaching strategies to support learning growth.
• SC3 Ability to monitor and assess student learning and use data to drive improvement.
• SC4 Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills to collaborate with students, staff, parents and the community.
• SC5 Ability to model and reflect on teaching practice and support professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage whole-school improvement initiatives aligned with the strategic plan.
• Coordinate curriculum planning and delivery across key learning areas.
• Develop and implement professional development and individual/team development plans for staff.
• Oversee staff performance and development processes (review of staff).
• Deliver demonstrations of teaching practice and coach colleagues.
• Lead development of assessment and reporting policies and practices.
• Contribute to school operations and student welfare policies.
• Develop and manage the school's code of conduct and policy proposals.
