Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Principal Subsea Systems Engineer for a major offshore development project in Perth, WA. The role provides technical leadership across the full subsea production system lifecycle, with emphasis on system integration and interface management.

The successful candidate will have extensive offshore oil and gas subsea experience, FEED to execution exposure, and strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Offshore, Ocean, Subsea or related Engineering discipline.
• Extensive offshore oil & gas subsea experience.
• Strong background in subsea production systems and system integration.
• Experience across FEED, detailed design, installation and commissioning phases.
• Experience managing complex technical interfaces and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across subsea production systems including trees, manifolds, controls, flowlines, umbilicals and associated infrastructure.
• Ensure effective integration between subsea equipment, wells, SURF systems and facilities.
• Support project development activities from concept through FEED to execution and commissioning.
• Manage technical interfaces across multiple disciplines, contractors and stakeholders.
• Participate in risk assessments, HAZOPs, HAZIDs, SIL studies and design reviews.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables, technical documentation and vendor submissions.
• Identify and manage technical risks, issues and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support procurement activities, contractor management and package delivery teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project and engineering teams.
