Job summary

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Building Supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of site supervision in structural steel erection.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specs.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily construction and structural steel erection activities, including work sequencing and material deliveries.
• Supervise site employees, rigging crews, subcontractors and other trades to meet project programs.
• Interpret drawings, plans and specifications and communicate requirements clearly to teams.
• Monitor activities to ensure compliance with drawings, standards and project specs.
• Enforce health and safety procedures, inductions and safe work practices for steel erection.
• Coordinate labour, cranes, access equipment and deliveries with project stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks, identify defects and arrange corrective action.
• Maintain accurate daily site records and monitor progress against schedules.
