Job summary

ISCM PTY LTD is seeking a Building Associate to support supervision and coordination of structural reinforcement and construction works across projects in Sydney NSW. You will work closely with the Construction Manager to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality, with a focus on coordinating labour, subcontractors, materials and site records.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Building and Construction or a related discipline.
• Experience supervising construction activities and coordinating site teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction activities across sites or work packages.
• Assist the Construction Manager with planning, sequencing and organising site activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site personnel to maintain productivity and progress.
• Allocate labour according to construction priorities and site requirements.
• Review construction drawings, specs and schedules to coordinate site works.
• Monitor progress and report delays or issues to the Construction Manager.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries, plant and equipment for scheduled activities.
• Inspect workmanship to ensure compliance with drawings and standards.
• Identify defects and coordinate rectification.
• Maintain site records, progress reports and defect registers.
• Conduct pre-starts and toolbox meetings, promote safety compliance.
• Provide regular progress updates and assist with upcoming works.
