Job summary

Fulton Hogan in Newcastle region is seeking a Supervisor to lead spray sealing operations across regional NSW and Sydney, based out of Rutherford/Newcastle. You will supervise crews, ensure safety, quality and environmental standards, and drive projects to deliver outcomes for clients.

Ideal candidates have hands-on spray sealing experience, strong planning and stakeholder management, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in bituminous spray sealing operations.
• Experience leading crews within civil construction, spray sealing, asphalt laying or road maintenance.
• Strong planning, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Completion of a recognised Leadership Training Course is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out job inspections and planning work delivery to achieve project targets and profitability while maintaining HSEQ standards.
• Leading work delivery crews and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Maximising equipment utilisation and coordinating repairs and maintenance.
• Liaising with clients regarding project requirements and delivery outcomes.
• Planning onsite activities including subcontractors and hired equipment.
• Providing leadership, mentoring and people management to field crews.
• Ensuring works are completed per contract specifications and tendered expectations.
