Job summary

BAIDA PROJECT PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Site Foreman to oversee residential building projects. The role focuses on interpreting drawings, coordinating trades, and managing daily/weekly schedules to ensure on-time delivery with high quality.

You will supervise site operations, maintain WHS compliance, and keep accurate site diaries and progress records while working closely with the project manager to resolve on-site issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in residential or commercial site supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple trades and manage construction schedules.
• Good understanding of Australian building standards and WHS requirements.
• Reliable, hands-on, detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings to ensure works align with approved plans and specs.
• Develop and coordinate daily/weekly construction schedules and sequence trades.
• Oversee site operations, monitor workmanship and quality standards.
• Coordinate trades, labour, materials, deliveries and equipment to maintain workflow.
• Track milestones, identify delays, resolve on-site issues and report progress.
• Conduct site inspections and address defects promptly to maintain quality.
• Maintain WHS compliance and site procedures, and keep documentation up to date.
• Proactively identify issues and coordinate practical solutions to keep works progressing.
