Job summary

MOD Pizza is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and to mentor new hires, support program rollouts, and uphold MOD’s standards for guest experiences. You will guide the squad, provide feedback, and ensure smooth daily operations across Front and Back of House.

In this role you will deploy staff, train for new programs, manage equipment and systems, and maintain safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Demonstrated success as a mentor, trainer or informal leader.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must obtain food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start (as required by law).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Availability to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and support training for new hires, program rollouts and standards.
• Provide guidance, feedback, and issue escalation to GM/AM as needed.
• Ensure operating systems and equipment are maintained to meet restaurant goals (online ordering, catering, fundraising, customer reviews).
• Maintain food safety standards in Front and Back of House using MOD tools and standards.
• Manage cash within the shift, including making change and processing refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed in coordination with the GM.
• Complete opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to meet requirements on time.
• Review emails and communicate relevant updates from MOD and Slice to the squad.
