Job summary

OmniVision is seeking a Senior Security Technician in Sydney to lead installation projects and manage service faults across our security platform deployments. You will own technical delivery from rough-in to handover and mentor junior staff.

The role requires hands-on CCTV, access control and alarm experience, a valid Security Licence, and the ability to obtain a National Police Check. Expect a mix of project and service work with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' hands-on experience in CCTV, Alarm and access control systems.
• Security Licence.
• Ability to pass a National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, commission and maintain access control, intrusion detection, CCTV and video management systems, along with intercoms and other integrated security platforms
• Lead projects on site from rough-in to handover, including client liaison and as-built documentation
• Diagnose and fix faults on preventative maintenance and reactive service calls
• Configure network components such as IP addressing, VLANs, PoE switching and remote access
• Mentor junior technicians and apprentices, and check their work meets our standards
• Complete job sheets, test reports and site documentation on time and accurately
• Follow WHS requirements and help keep sites safe
