Job summary

UnknownCo in Yatala is seeking a Lead Roofer for our custom tiny homes project. You will own roofing and external cladding across our tiny homes, decks and pergolas, and lead the quality of workmanship with hands-on responsibility.

You’ll work closely with the founders and Construction Lead, in our indoor workshop, with flexible hours and a steady pipeline of work. This role offers a high salary for the right experience and an opportunity to establish and lead our in-house roofing function.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in metal roofing and roof plumbing.
• Experience with Colorbond roofing and wall cladding.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workflow.
• Confidence reading plans and working through custom details.
• High attention to detail.
• Pride in your workmanship.
• Strong communication and reliability.
• A safety-first approach.
• The ability to work well with a small team and take feedback.

Responsibilities

• Installing Colorbond roofing and wall cladding across tiny homes, decks and pergolas.
• Reading plans and interpreting design requirements.
• Planning the work and coordinating materials.
• Working with a dedicated labourer.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area.
• Completing quality checks on each project.
• Taking ownership of producing neat, durable and watertight finishes.
