Job summary

Gilmour Space Technologies is seeking a Senior Robotics Software Engineer to design and implement flight-critical software for rocket systems. You will work with engineers to develop, test and operate launch vehicles and subsystems, ensuring reliable flight performance.

The role involves leading GNC activities, integrating subsystems, and advancing the flight algorithm stack with MATLAB and Python. Australian citizen/residency or visa eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s required in a STEM field (Physics or aerospace-related).
• 4+ years in GNC, flight software or robotics design engineering.
• Proven leadership in fast-paced, team settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead GNC development, requirements, design, verification, and validation.
• Integrate GNC with avionics, software, mech, propulsion, and ops teams.
• Develop and improve flight algorithms and analysis tools.
