Job summary

Qualifications

• Carpentry background with solid understanding of structural steel, beams, posts and connections.
• Reliable, organised and proactive with hands-on leadership and practical site capability.
• Able to confidently run or coordinate an installation and lead by example when required.
• Experience leading employees, subcontractors, crane crews and other site personnel.
• Strong knowledge of erection methods, sequencing, temporary stability, rigging, lifting and heights.
• White Card and current driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site measuring and prepare the steel fabrication list.
• Coordinate installations with builders' carpenters and carpentry teams.
• Ensure all work meets plans and quality standards.
• Read architectural and structural plans and mark the site for installation.
• Organise and oversee site-works and service connections.
• Lead installation crews on site and adapt to on-site challenges.
