Job summary

Qualifications

• Welding experience and ability to use hand tools.
• Must meet DOT requirements to operate CMVs under 26k GVWR.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean motor vehicle record.
• Must pass a Trinity-issued road test and DOT Physical when required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct railcar inspections to ensure cars are in compliance.
• Perform repairs using current procedures and standards.
• Ensure accurate invoicing, inspections, and work orders.
• Lead and mentor hourly workers on site and coordinate with the site manager.
• Read engineering drawings and perform complex railcar repairs, including dye penetrant testing readiness.
