Job summary

Alstom is seeking two Lead Maintenance Technicians for our Wulkuraka facility in Queensland. You will lead fault investigations, implement maintenance strategies, and support fleet reliability and safety for the QNGR fleet.

The role involves collaboration with technicians and ISST personnel, with potential day/night shifts on a rotating roster. You should bring extensive rollingstock maintenance experience, strong diagnostic skills, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in rollingstock maintenance or similar complex operations.
Proven ability to lead technical investigations and corrective actions.
Experience leading technicians and mentoring others in maintenance practices.
Strong analytical skills to interpret performance and reliability data.
Excellent communication across maintenance, engineering, operations and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

Lead fault investigations, root cause analyses, and incident reviews to maximise fleet safety and availability.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies and work scopes for complex fleet issues.
Oversee diagnostic testing, repair validation, and disposition of electronic and electro-mechanical components.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to maintenance teams and ISST personnel.
Prepare technical reports, KPIs and maintenance records to support operations and contracts.
