Job summary

UGL Transport in Kangy Angy, NSW, is seeking a Senior Maintenance & Test Engineer to provide technical leadership across the NSW Passenger fleet. You will help ensure safe, reliable maintenance, testing and commissioning of rolling stock while supporting large rail program delivery.

You will mentor teams, drive maintenance improvements and engage stakeholders to achieve safe, efficient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• You may bring experience from rail, rolling stock or another safety-critical industry.
• You have strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• You can engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• You bring a continuous improvement mindset and commitment to safety.
• You have mentoring or coaching experience in a technical environment.
• You can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across the NSW Passenger fleet.
• Oversee maintenance, testing and commissioning of rolling stock.
• Support fault investigations and develop maintenance processes.
• Mentor technical teams across maintenance and commissioning operations.
