Job summary

Latrobe Community Health Services in Morwell, VIC is seeking a Lead Quality Advisor to drive quality, safety, compliance and continuous improvement across the organisation. You will provide expert advice to governance and lead a portfolio within Continuous Quality Improvement and Incident Management.

The role focuses on embedding evidence-based quality initiatives, working with clinical and operational teams to strengthen service quality and outcomes for clients and communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality improvement, incident management, compliance or a related field.
• Experience working within community health, healthcare, human services or a similarly regulated environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to develop policies, reports and organisational resources.
• Experience supporting or leading change management initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• High levels of initiative, professionalism and attention to detail.

• Lead one of the Continuous Quality Improvement and Incident Management portfolios across the organisation.

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a quality professional who is passionate about improving services, influencing positive change and working collaboratively with leaders and teams to achieve better outcomes for our clients and communities.

Reporting to the Manager Governance, you will provide expert advice, leadership and support across a dedicated quality portfolio while contributing to organisation-wide continuous improvement and governance initiatives.

As a Lead Quality Advisor, you will take ownership of one of the Continuous Quality Improvement and Incident Management portfolio.

You will lead organisation-wide quality improvement and incident management initiatives to strengthen service quality, safety and performance across LCHS. The role works collaboratively with clinical and operational teams to identify opportunities for improvement, implement evidence-based quality initiatives, and ensure improvements arising from audits, reviews and investigations are embedded into practice.
