Job summary
RWE Renewables Australia Pty Ltd. is seeking a Head of Project Engineering Australia to lead regional engineering across onshore wind, solar PV, battery storage and hybrid projects.
The role oversees engineering and technical delivery through development, construction and COD, ensuring optimal plant design and cost efficiency. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, coordinate with Development, Grid, Procurement and Construction, and embed Health, Safety and Environmental requirements in all
Qualifications
- At least 10 years’ project engineering experience in renewable energy.
- Experience leading engineering teams or coordinating multidisciplinary technical workstreams.
- Experience supporting projects from late-stage development through FID into construction.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Project Engineering function in Australia and manage a multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver engineering support across the full project lifecycle from development to COD.
- Oversee concept and execution engineering to meet requirements and standards.
- Prepare scopes of work and technical specifications for large procurement contracts.
- Collaborate with global engineering functions to align with standards.
