Job summary

Crystalise seeks an experienced Lead Project Engineer – Sustaining Capital to manage end-to-end delivery of multiple sustaining capital projects at a major mining operation in Western Australia. The role combines hands-on project delivery with developing and improving delivery frameworks, systems and processes for long-term sustaining capital needs.

You will lead planning, budgeting, procurement, and contract management, coordinating with operations, engineering, maintenance and procurement

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Process, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Demonstrated project engineering or project management experience within mining, minerals processing or heavy industry.
• Experience delivering multiple sustaining capital or brownfield projects concurrently.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, procurement and contract management.
• Experience developing scopes of work, business cases and tender documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive approach to safety, risk management and continuous improvement.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and successfully complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

Crystalise is seeking an experienced Lead Project Engineer – Sustaining Capital to support our client, a leading lithium producer.

This is an exciting opportunity to take a lead role in establishing and managing sustaining capital project delivery processes while overseeing a diverse portfolio of capital works across a major mining operation.

About the Role

Working closely with our client's Projects and Operations teams, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple sustaining capital projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

The role combines hands-on project delivery with the opportunity to develop and improve the frameworks, systems and processes that will support the operation's long-term sustaining capital requirements.

Key Responsibilities
