Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA seeks a Production Supervisor for the TWTA production team to lead hourly workers responsible for assembly, test, and troubleshooting of ground station W-band amplifiers. You will drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes, factory layout, and design feedback during the ramp of production.

The role emphasizes hands-on assembly, mentoring, scheduling, and timekeeping, with clear accountability for safety, quality, and throughput.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
1+ years of experience leading a team or project.

Responsibilities

Own the production ramp of complex electromechanical assemblies to weekly rates.
Grow a team from 10 to 20+ with hiring and training.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and test engineering to optimize the line.
Lead by example; drive safety, quality, and rate improvements.
Mentor the team and assist with design decisions and project strategies.
Manage hourly workforce performance and implement corrective actions.
Set area metrics for training, flow, efficiency, and defect reduction.
Perform hands-on assembly and test when required.
Oversee test lab operations, scheduling, and maintenance.
Develop solutions for defective hardware and monitor timekeeping.
