Job summary

Boab Metals Limited is progressing the Sorby Hills Project near Kununurra, Western Australia. We are seeking an experienced Process Manager to lead the development, commissioning and operation of the Sorby Hills Lead-Silver concentrator during construction and into steady-state production, on a 2 weeks on / 1 week off roster.

Qualifications

• Degree in Metallurgy, Minerals Processing, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive mineral processing operations experience, especially flotation.
• Strong leadership in multidisciplinary teams and budgets.
• Experience with base metals processing, preferably lead/zinc.
• Experience with commissioning, operational readiness or greenfield projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe, efficient and commercially effective operation of the Sorby Hills Processing Plant from ROM feed to concentrate shipment and port logistics.
• Deliver production, recovery, concentrate quality and cost targets through leadership and plant optimisation.
• Drive continuous improvement to maximise plant performance, reliability and value.
• Build cross-functional collaboration across processing, mining, maintenance, labs, logistics and commercial teams.
• Lead commissioning, readiness and ramp-up activities to support transition to operations.
• Develop and implement operating procedures, metallurgical standards and best‑practice work systems.
• Foster safety culture and compliance with statutory and company requirements.
• Lead risk management and controls for safe, sustainable operations.
• Manage budgets, cost performance and resource planning; monitor performance indicators.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing processing team and drive accountability.
