Hastings People is seeking an experienced Pizza Chef for a flagship CBD venue in Melbourne. You will own the pizza section, manage dough production and ensure quality across busy services.
The role requires expertise in multiple dough styles, fermentation, and delivering 100+ covers. You’ll work five days with weekend rosters, contributing to ongoing menu development and production systems.

Qualifications
- Proven experience with multiple dough styles, including larger-format and Polish doughs
- Strong knowledge of fermentation and dough development
- Experience delivering 100+ covers in a fast-paced kitchen
- Excellent organisation and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Calm and resilient temperament under peak service
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the pizza section, from preparation and dough production through to service
- Maintain exceptional dough quality, fermentation and consistency across production
- Deliver consistent, high-quality output during high-volume and event-driven trade
- Identify opportunities to improve preparation, workflow and production systems
- Contribute to menu development and the exploration of additional pizza and dough styles
