This is an opportunity to lead a significant program of service reform across Council’s Planning and Development services. Working closely with senior leaders, managers and subject matter experts, you’ll turn approved recommendations into coordinated improvements that strengthen service delivery, customer experience, systems and ways of working.

Key Aspects:

Lead change that will shape how a city grows
Take a central role in delivering significant reform across Planning and Development services at a time of continued growth and change. This is an opportunity to influence how Council supports future development, improves customer experiences and strengthens service delivery for residents, businesses, developers and the broader community.

Drive transformation at an organisational level
Work directly with Directors, managers and subject matter experts to turn strategic recommendations into practical outcomes. You'll have the scope to establish governance, set priorities, coordinate complex work programs and guide improvements that extend across multiple service areas and influence the way Council operates into the future.

Apply your expertise where it creates visible impact
Bring your experience in organisational change, service improvement, governance and program delivery to an environment where success is measured by real outcomes rather than internal activity. The improvements you help implement will strengthen systems, processes, capability and customer service across a large and diverse organisation.

Build a career-defining body of work
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a high-profile program with executive visibility and organisational significance. You'll work alongside experienced leaders, navigate complex challenges and develop a portfolio of transformation achievements that demonstrates your ability to deliver lasting change in a complex public sector environment.
