Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Senior Mining Engineer – Open Pit to lead planning and scheduling for a major Northparkes project. You’ll shape mine design and development, set planning standards and work with geology, survey and operations to deliver safe, efficient outcomes.

You will operate on a family-friendly roster and play a pivotal role from project development through to production, delivering sustainable value for the operation and the business.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in open pit mine planning and scheduling.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead mine planning activities for a new open pit operation.
• Establish planning standards and governance for the project.
• Develop short- and medium-term mine schedules to maximise value.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe operations.
