Job summary

Lockheed Martin Australia is seeking a Network Infrastructure Lead to drive the AIR6500 program’s network architecture and security-focused designs. You will collaborate with Network Architects, IPTs and system teams to translate architectural direction into practical, secure network solutions across mission systems and support environments.

• Extensive experience designing and implementing complex network architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed designs of the Network Architecture, working with Network Architects to implement the network configuration across the Mission and Support Systems.
• Work closely with the Network Architect to support the evolution of the AIR6500 network and support the implementation of network solutions across AIR6500 and associated support environments.
• Collaborate with the Network Architect, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and System Architects to define network requirements and develop detailed design solutions.
• Drive security-by-design principles throughout the network solution.
• Provide technical leadership through peer reviews and technical assessments, working with the Network Architect to deliver effective documentation.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of technical reviews, including network architecture diagrams, physical and logical configurations, requirements and interface definitions.
• Engage with AIR6500 IPTs and Specialty Engineering teams to ensure a common understanding of network architecture.
• Oversee the design, create configurations, implementation of network security solutions including firewalls, load balances, virtual appliances, VPNs, as well as cloud-native routing and switching technologies.
• Set-up and configuration of Software Defined Networking solutions along with Knowledge in routing, switching and firewall technologies
• Experience with design and implementation of networking products such as CISCO, Juniper, Palo Alto.
• Relevant qualifications, experience or certifications such as Juniper Networks Certification Program (JNCP) , Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).
