Job summary

Lockheed Martin Australia seeks a Network Infrastructure Lead to drive detailed designs of the network architecture underpinning the AIR6500 program. You will collaborate with Network Architects and IPTs to implement secure, scalable solutions across mission and support systems.

The role requires extensive experience in complex network designs, routing/switching and firewall technologies, and relevant Cisco/Juniper/Palo Alto certifications. A security-focused, Agile environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and implementing complex network architectures.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching and firewall technologies.
• Relevant industry qualifications or certifications (CCNP/CCIE/JNCP).
• Understanding of security frameworks, governance and compliance requirements (ISM/PSPF).
• Experience with infrastructure software technologies (virtualisation, cyber defence, monitoring).
• Knowledge of compute, servers, storage and cross-domain solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed designs of the Network Architecture with Network Architects.
• Support evolution of AIR6500 network across environments.
• Collaborate with IPTs to define network requirements and develop designs.
• Drive security-by-design principles throughout the network solution.
• Provide technical leadership via reviews and assessments; document designs.
