Job summary

Evolve Scientific in Pemulwuy, NSW is seeking a Moulder Technician to keep the production line running from Blow Moulder to the bagger, including vision and leak testing systems. This is a technically focused role, requiring strong knowledge of plastic processing and the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment faults in a high-speed environment.

Qualifications

Experience in plastic processing, injection, or blow moulding.
Technically minded, positive "can-do" attitude.
Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause problem-solving skills.
Experience in fast-paced, high-speed manufacturing.
Background in food-grade or regulated manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Ensure machines run efficiently, according to production plan and daily KPIs.
Monitor cycle times, machine performance and product quality/specs.
Manage machine start-ups, stoppages, and adjustments.
Identify and fix the underlying cause of equipment issues, not just a quick fix.
Capture downtime data via the shop floor system.
Work closely with the Shift Supervisor, QA, and production teams.
Ensure compliance with WHS, Food Safety, and Quality Standards.
